Its hard to forget the "unforgettable Philex". The only place who provide free rice, electricity, on top of the rest. I don't know if its good or bad.. for me, it makes us go laid back, (no offence)!
Here in abroad, you've got to pay for everything, you don't work, you won't have free food on the table.. then, you'll get sick, no free hospital to make you better... you die, no one will help you to arrange your body, you'll end up being creamated, still you got to pay RM 400 for the Public Creamatorium, again your ash will be forever forgotten. I am just trying to explain it in reality.
Philex- oh, there's good and bad. I hated the place, back in 1985-1992, i don't feel i'm growing. I'm stucked! We don't move.
If you are "negosyante" you get rich every single payday.
6 yrs is enough for me to realize that there's something wrong being stuck there, waiting for the husband to come, enjoy family meal 3x times a day.. same thing next day, next week, next year. No challenge.. you don't go anywhere, the pay is JUST nice to keep your family, to make ends meet in a daily basis. THAT"S IT!
Living alone in a foreign land is tough IF YOU DON'T THINK OF THE FUTURE. I want something to accomplish before i die.. I want to see my 2 girls- Amor and Kaye on its peak of success.
I want to be remembered.. I want to show my girls that they can do better compared to what Philex could offer.
Life is too short..why not we do something to make it more worthwhile living.. Take the challenge, enjoy it!
I wanna go back there once i finished my "so called journey".
I miss the fog, catching shuttle bus, sayote, ah,, it's a place next to heaven to me!
Time in A Bottle- Jim Croce..very meaningful song, full of body, the message is so intense!
Anyway, i am very thankful to the founder of this web site, Mr Slazh- you're great!
I hope to reconnect with my old mates ages ago, hope they still remember me.
Would be good to have a reunion, don't we:-)
All the best to everybody.. hope to see you all, catch up soon!!
