MR. CORNELIO FOY-OS ( + ) - TATANG! - He was my former MATH (2ND YR) and TYPING (3RD YR) teacher. HE KNOWS WHAT HE'S TEACHING AND HE'S A MASTER OF IT. I love him much b'coz he's made me learn a lot. HE GETS MY ATTENTION in a way that he'll put me to shame (which was good) with a GOOD purpose of wanting me to pay attention (LISTEN!) to him during discussion or he did correct my character as a student - to behave and KEEP QUIET while in class and WHILE HE WAS DISCUSSING!!! -- He puts me on a hot seat (despite having 4 M/R/ICHELLE'S in his class - pointing me in particular and he gives me the one of the longest litany but to my benefit -- what's good about it? ? --- Once we're out of the classroom, EVERYTHING is normal MRS. ELENA BASLINGAN - MAMA ELENA - She was my Physics teacher (4TH YR) - SHE KNOWS WHAT SHE'S TEACHING AND SHE'S A MASTER OF IT. I love her because she was a mum, a teacher and a friend. She taught everyone in the class 'til everyone understood the lesson.. AT times, she had to repeat a certain lecture for the benefit of those who were having a hard time understanding the formulae and the solutions to given problems. Just like "TATANG" she would mention my ROW number (Row 4 - Sci Lab) to call my attention while I was BUSY chatting ... If not, she'll immediately call my attention to solve something at the board if I was terribly busy (chatting!)... If I solved the problem she'll say: "SIGE.. ingkan ituloy diay chismiss mo pero sigurado ka nga surwam dayta ka-chismis mo ah?!? Nu ma-Zero isuna, BASOL MO!" --- or, if I wasn't able to solve the problem, 30 mins class litany!!! (my fault!) - but when we were out, EVERYTHING is perfectly NORMAL.. and you could talk to her like a mum or a friend MRS. MARYFLORDELIZ MENDILLO - SYEMPRE NANANG KO! She was my Math Teacher (Grade 6)... If you're thinking that I'm being biased here, slight lang po... I have to give my mum credit for being my teacher - SHE MADE ME MEM'RIZE the MULTIPLICATION TABLE - bawal agbilang ti ima sa class niya! - BAWAL talyaw diay side or talyaw diay likod OR sa binubulong ng seatmate mo or ELSE! - I was NEVER her daughter in class. There was a time when there were 6 of us, called to answer a problem sa board. Everyone had it W.R.O.N.G. - my 5 classmates had a tootsie roll (small stick - nabaot ti ima) - but I had a chocolate bar (long stick - nabaot sa ubet!!! - UNFAIR!!!) - There were lots of other instances pero yan ang 'da best.. nagawid ak, inpulong ko isuna kinni papa ko .BUT that was how she was to me - my teacher - my real mother - I LOVE YOU MAMA MR. ROMULO MENDILLO - MY SAMPLER DAD He's a very good dad.. Love it when he prepared our BALON (HS). He wakes up at 4 a.m. (kung hindi sya 3rd shift), heats up our water (pagdigos) and prepares our breakfast din... he COOKS / PREPARES food way better than my mum... I miss his dinuguan (crispy or burned gata) , tinola, pinikpikan, menudo, lauya etc.. etc... ! I just wish I could grant all his wishes... That's my dad.. a very good Sampler (19 yrs) to Philex Mines and my DAD - I LOVE YOU PAPA

Your story is so nice. Indeed these people truly deserved to be credited for the things they have done in molding you as a good person and for what you are now. During those days, you simply find that what they were doing were routinary and very simple things, but as years pass by, you come to realize that they are of value. Thanks for sharing us your wonderful story/
